with a view to provide composite professional training to candidates in the field of Hospitality/Travel/Tourism, Ministry of DONER, Government of India is providing one year residential training programme for North Eastern candidates at Bangalore and Mysore.

The Vocational system of education is skill development by learning, seeing and doing. As the students learn and practice the prescribed syllabus in the schools it becomes indispensable that they be taken to various locations for field level application of the subject. For this purpose the students are taken to industries, farms, garages, hotels, travel agencies and various offices. After each visit the students are to submit proper report in accordance to the format provided to them.

It provides first hand technical knowledge about field application and helps widen the overall concept.
For exposure visits-

  • Select collaborating agencies in the locality and submit the acceptance letter certified by the agency at the time of proposal submission.
  • Tour proposal should be submitted to HO, 15 days ahead of programme.
  • Plan the Tour with respect to-
    • Relevance to the Course
    • Cost to be incurred
  • Proposal letter must be duly certified by the school principal and later on include the NOCs from parents.
  • Prepare Tour Report in the Tour Format after completion.
  • Submit at least 5 copies of quality photograph of tour along with the tour report.
  • Submit the tour expense within 15 days of tour completion along with a separate forwarding letter.
